About

Stockton BID: Businesses Supporting Businesses

Stockton Business Improvement District (BID) is the voice of the town’s business community – a network of 400 diverse businesses working together to create positive change. Run by businesses, for businesses, our mission is simple: to make Stockton a place where people want to visit, shop, stay, and invest. Every penny we invest goes towards projects that improve the commercial environment and enrich the experience of being in Stockton.

We collaborate with local businesses and organisations to deliver projects that boost leisure, culture, and sustainability. Whether it’s supporting walking and cycling initiatives, advocating for greener spaces, or tackling crime, we’re dedicated to building a safer, more welcoming town. We connect businesses across the community, offering opportunities for collaboration and growth. Our Stockton MET programme encourages networking with other Tees Valley businesses, uniting us in our goal to redefine the high street.

Shaping the Future Together

We’re proud to champion Stockton’s ambitious regeneration, from revitalising the high street to working closely with partners like Stockton Borough Council. Through our membership with the Association of Town and City Centre Management (ATCM) and others we stay ahead of trends, ensuring our strategies reflect the changing needs of town centres and their users.

At Stockton BID, we’re more than just a voice for business – we’re innovators, collaborators, and advocates for a brighter future. Together, we’re shaping a town that’s not only rich in heritage but bursting with opportunities for businesses and visitors alike.

So, whether you’re an entrepreneur, a shopper, or simply passing through, we invite you to experience Stockton – a town with a proud past and a vibrant future.

The future is local.
