Dementia Friendly High Street Comes To Stockton

Business owners and staff undergo special free training to gain the important accreditation.

There’s a social movement going on amongst the business owners in Stockton town centre which comes as part of a bigger aim of revitalising and regenerating the town centre.

And if you have spotted the blue flower logos in the windows of the shops and cafes there, you might have guessed why.

The forget-me-not symbol is a sign that the business displaying it is dementia-friendly and its owners and staff have undergone special training to gain the accreditation.
